Welcome to Honeyeater Crafts! I’m Natalie, the heart and soul of this 100% Australian owned and operated business, based in the leafy suburbs of Adelaide.

Inspiration and Mission

Honeyeater Crafts began with my love for cross stitch, inspired by historical and scientific illustrations, as well as modern designs. My mission is to provide patterns for all skill levels, from beginner to advanced, available as instant PDF downloads.

Design Philosophy

I strive to create designs that look stunning both up close and from a distance, balancing detail and simplicity while limiting the number of DMC thread colours. Advanced patterns feature specialty stitches like blended floss colours and backstitch, adding depth and dimension to your finished piece.

My Story

My cross stitching journey started in primary school, guided by my mum. Over the years, I developed a passion for intricate designs, leading to the creation of Honeyeater Crafts in April 2019. Named after the New Holland Honeyeater, my Etsy shop began with two listings and has since expanded to include Redbubble and LoveCrafts.

In 2020, personal challenges paused my business, but by 2022, I was back with new products like project planners and inventory trackers. This year, 2024, I ventured into digital oil paintings, perfect for modern displays like Samsung Frame TVs. To offer more to my customers, I opened this online shop, moving away from Etsy to sell digital and physical products directly.
